Pakistan makes an offer over Gwadar Port to important Muslim country

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has offered Azerbaijan full access to the Gwadar port link for transit trade to Central Asia.

Azerbaijan Ambassador Ali Alizada met with Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub Khan in the Petroleum Division yesterday.

Also present on the occasion were Country Heads of AOC, the largest oil and gas company in Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijan delegation expressed special interest in oil and gas exploration activities in Pakistan, including LNG infrastructure.

Azerbaijan Ambassador said that Pakistan is a brotherly country, we want to promote our economic relations especially in the energy sector. Omar Ayub said, "Our government has a clear and transparent policy for businesses and investors. The sides agreed to continue talks in the future.
