Former President Pervaiz Musharraf faces a worst blow

ISLAMABAD - *Former President Pervaiz Musharraf faces a worst blow.*

Pervaiz Musharraf plea seeking exclusion of terrorism provisions from judges’ detention case has been rejected by the Islamabad High Court. Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Mian Gull dismissed the petition over absence of Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer Akhtar Shah.

Musharraf was declared proclaimed offender for skipping hearings while interim warrants were also against him by anti-terrorism court (ATC).

Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO) judges case refers to cases pertaining to the high court and Supreme Court judges who took their oath under the Provisional Constitutional Order in 2007.
