ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 13 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 7.114 kilogram hashish, 200 gram heroin, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that SHO Inspector Abid Ikram and his team including Sub-Inspector Malik Muhammad Mumtaz and Umer Hyat arrested three drug pushers including a female and recovered 6.10 kilogram hashish and 200 gram heroin from them.
They have been identified as accused Farheen, Aman and Ehsan while further investigation is underway from them. Sub-Inspector Azam Sahi from CIA police arrested accused Aamir Mehmud and recovered 1050 gram hashish from him while ASI Khalid Mehmud from Bhara Kau police arrested Zeehan Malik for having 54 gram hashish.
ASI Niaz Ahmed from Golra police nabbed accused Hassan and recovered stolen motorbike from him while ASI Khalid Javed arrested accused Bashir, Qamar and Tariq for having stolen mobile phones.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal from Tarnol police arrested an Afghan national Lal for residing illegally in the country while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Haneef from Koral police arrested Rajab for having 30 bore pistol. ASIs Zafar Iqbal and Ejaz Ahmed from Nilore police arrested Fahad Imtiaz and Rehan Khalid for having one 9 mm pistol each. Cases have been registered against these nabbed accused persons and further investigation is underway from them.
