Investigation Police Model Town division arrests six accused

LAHORE: The Investigation Police Model Town division have arrested six accused involved in murder, abduction for ransom and vehicle-lifting cases and recovered stolen property worth Rs 2.8 million from them.

SP Model Town Investigation Dr Anoosh Masood said this while addressing a press conference at his office here.
He said that In-charge Homicide Kahna arrested accused Abdul Rehman from Burewala who was involved in blind murder of a woman Shehnaz.

In-charge Investigation Icchra arrested accused Asghar and brought him back through Interpol from Saudi Arabia. The accused belonged to Shah Jamal Lahore and was involved in abducting the owner of a local factory and released him after receiving Rs 25 million ransom money.

In-charge Investigation Naseerabad busted two dacoit gangs and arrested four persons namely Asif, Saeed, Imran and Arshad and recovered 16-tola gold ornaments, 18 mobile phones and other precious items form them.
