KARACHI: Pakistan Maritime Security has arrested ten Indian fishermen over the violation of maritime boundary today while two Indian boats have also been seized by PMS.

As per details, the arrested fishermen were fishing in the Pakistani territorial waters illegally when they were arrested by Pakistan Maritime Security.

Maritime Security Agency spokesperson said that teams have been sent to shift the arrested fisherman in Karachi while they would be handed over to Docks Police.

Such kind of incidents frequently happen in Pakistan and India due to poorly defined maritime border in the Arabian Sea while a large number of fishing boats do not have advance technology to avoid border violation, ascertaining of their precise location.
