ISLAMABAD: (APP) Board of Investment (BoI) is launching submission of online work visa application to facilitate and prompt processing of work visa for investors.
Initially the BoI is introducing it on trial basis to identify bugs in its processing, a statement said Friday.
Work visa applicants are requested to submit their mock application so that, the BoI can improve its online visa processing.
The BoI is confident that with the cooperation of investors, this initiative would be made helpful and processing of work visa application would be expedited.
This is also a step for creating a conducive investment environment so that pace of local and foreign investment could be accelerated.
The facility of online registration through the BoI website and allocation of tracking number to users after submission of required information is a positive step to facilitate the applicant.
The BoI is looking forward for the feedback and suggestions from the stakeholder so that online visa application services and facilities should be made available accordingly.
