Water and Power Development Authority has completed fifty eight projects of up-gradation of high tension feeders in South Punjab in order to cater future needs and improve the performance of transmission system.
Additional Chief Engineer construction MEPCO Aminovel Sardar told a meeting in Multan on Wednesday that these projects have been completed at a cost of one point one eight billion rupees under various development programmes.
He said overloaded feeders of Multan electric company have been bifurcated and load has been balanced to ensure uninterrupted supply to consumers.
