ISLAMABAD:Pakistan and Iran have agreed to enhance bilateral relations and engagements for peace and stability in the region.
The understanding was reached at a meeting between National Security Adviser Nasir Khan Janjua and the Ambassador of Iran Mehdi Honardost in Islamabad.
Besides matters of mutual interest, prospects of future cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in different areas were discussed.
Iranian Ambassador said that mutual cooperation is the only way to achieve sustainable peace in the region.
Both sides agreed that Pakistan and Iran have a great future.
Nasser Khan Janjua said that Pakistan has always played a positive role for peace and stability in the region and will continue to play a constructive and balanced role in the future as well.
