RAWALPINDI: Candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday have been elected unopposed as mayors in Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Sahiwal.

According to details, PML-N leaders Sardar Naseem from Rawalpindi, Toheed Akhtar from Sialkot and Asad Baloch from Sahiwal have won the mayoral race incontestably.

Retired Colonel Mubashir Javed and Waseem Qadir belonging to PML-N have come against each other for the mayorship of Lahore while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has also not left the seat uncontested and nominated its candidate Afeef Siddiqui.
