ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan netball team Saturday defeated traditional rivals India in a thrilling contest to make it to the final of First Asian Men's Netball Championship 2016, being played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to information received here, Pakistan team beat India by 27-26 goals. Muhammad Akhtar, Ali Raza, Zahid Iqbal and Khursheed Ahmed remained instrumental in Pakistan's success.
Muhammad Akhtar scored 17 goals, while Zahid Iqbal ended with 10 goals.
Later on, Pakistan also defeated Brunei by 42-25 goals.
The final will take place on Sunday.
