Sindh Apex Committee meeting held in Karachi

KARACHI – The 23rd meeting of Apex committee held under Sindh chiefMinister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi on Monday.

The meeting reviewed National action plan, implementation of decisionstaken in the 22nd meeting of apex committee, investigation and prosecutionof antiterrorism cases.

The meeting was also briefed about the current security situation in theprovince.

Meanwhile, addressing a meeting regarding Malir Expressway project inKarachi,Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said the project willprovide a shortest route to connect the city to Motorway M-9.

He said the six-lane Expressway will be built on the left bank of MalirRiver.

The Expressway would start from Qayyumabad KPT Interchange and will end atM-9 Motorway near DHA Phase 9.

He said Sindh Government would provide 30 percent of the funds for theproject while 40 percent would be taken as loan from the bank and another30 percent would be provided through public-private partnership.
