Pakistan makes special offer to Japanese businessmen and entrepreneurs

TOKYO – Commerce Minister invites Japanese entrepreneurs to explore hugeopportunities in trade and investment in Pakistan

He was addressing a seminar titled “Trade and Investment Opportunities inPakistan,” in Tokyo, Japan.

Prime Minister’s Advisor on Commerce Abdul Razaq Dawood has invitedJapanese entrepreneurs to explore the huge opportunities in trade andinvestment in Pakistan.

Addressing a seminar titled “Trade and Investment Opportunities inPakistan,” in Tokyo, Japan today, he underscored that the balance sheets ofmulti-national corporations in Pakistan itself reflect that they are makingprofits.

The Advisor urged the Japanese companies to look into IT sector, small andmedium enterprises and agriculture value chains for investment.

He called for taking advantage of Pakistan’s strategic location for exportsto the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.

Abdul Razzaq Dawood highlighted Pakistan’s massive investment ininfrastructure projects with the potential to make Pakistan a regional hubfor trade and investment.

He also elaborated the economic agenda of the PTI government under theleadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and how it is determined toovercome the current economic challenges through peace oriented, investmentfriendly, development focused and people centered strategies.
