LAHORE – The Indus Valley International Film Festival will take place inDelhi, India in a few days and multiple Pakistani movies will be screenedat the event. According to Entertainment Pakistan, the festival wasinitially scheduled to be held in the month of November, but due to variousissues, it had to be postponed.
However, the dates have been now finalized and the Indus ValleyInternational Film Festival will commence from January 7 and will run tillJanuary 13, 2019.
According to the founder and creative director of SAFACH, Harsh Narayan –who was also the creative director and curator of Pakistan InternationalFilm Festival (PIFF) visited Pakistan earlier this year.
Narayan had visited Pakistan with other eminent Bollywood filmmakers ofPIFF. It was during the festival that they realized that a lot of goodfilms are being produced in Pakistan, which should be seen by the Indianaudience and hence this festival is being organized.
