Afghan Military claims killing Key Taliban Commander, Taliban rejects report

KABUL – Taliban shadow governor for Paktika province, Pir Agha, has beenkilled in an operation with Afghan army forces, Deputy Spokesman forAfghanistan Interior Ministry Nosrat Rahimi said.

Pir Agha has been killed in Deh-e Khalifeh, Gomal District, Rahimi toldreporters on Sunday.

This is while, Taliban group has denied news regarding the killing of PirAgha.
