Important decisions taken in the PTI high level meeting presided over by Imran khan

A A meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) presided over by formerprime minister Imran Khan on Wednesday demanded that the assemblies shouldbe dissolved for early elections to pave the way for immediate elections inall four provinces.

PTI senators, members of the National Assembly, members of the ProvincialAssembly will go to the Supreme Court to register the FIR of the attack inWazirabad.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to country’s overall politicalsituation, next phase of Haqiqi Azadi March and other important issues cameunder discussion.

Former federal ministers Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry,Senator Azam Swati, Umar Ayub, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Mian Aslam Iqbal, HammadAzhar, Ijaz Chaudhry, Shafqat Mehmood, and other party leaders attended themeeting.

During the meeting, Punjab Home Advisor Umar Sarfraz Cheema presented thepreliminary forensic report regarding the Wazirabad attack to the partyleadership.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Umer Sarfraz Cheema said that theforensic report of the incident revealed that there were more than oneattacker, while an attempt to create religious narrative against the formerPM has completely failed.

On the occasion, PTI secretary information Farrukh Habib said that thesecond phase of the long march was discussed in a more than two-hourmeeting and termed the attack on party chairman an attack on 22 crorepeople. He said Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah should be ashamed of hisstatements, adding that if any officer tries to covertly pressurize theinvestigation of this incident, will also be exposed, while the time ofgovernor rule in the province is over, now only people s will rule.
