Indian authorities imposed curfew in Jammu region

SRINAGAR – In Occupied Kashmir, Indian authorities have imposed curfew inKishtwar town and adjoining areas of Jammu region in the wake of verdict onBabri Masjid dispute by the Indian Supreme Court.

The people of Occupied Kashmir continue to suffer for the 98th straight daytoday due to Indian military siege.

Restrictions under Section 144, prohibiting assembles of four or morepersons continue in the territory.

The communication network, including prepaid phones and internet servicescontinue to remain suspended since August 5th.

Suspension of internet service even at ‘Media facilitation Centre’ inSrinagar has irked media persons, who depend on the facility to file theirnews stories.

All shops and business establishments remain closed and traffic is off theroads.
