ISLAMABAD – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Saturday has askedPakistan to enhance its exports and privatise the loss-making Public SectorEntities (PSEs).
Sources informed that ministry of finance, the ministry of commerce andFederal Board of Revenue (FBR) officials briefed IMF team.
They informed that IMF has asked Pakistan to take measures to enhance theexports, which are declining from last few years.
The IMF reportedly has asked the Pakistani authorities that increasingexports could help in maintaining the foreign exchange reserves of thecountry. Similarly, they have also asked to privatise the loss-making PSEs.
