Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has dissolved parliament and declared a snap election on the 5th of January. Political crisis hit the country when the Sri Lankan President sacked Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe last month and replaced him with Mahinda Rajapaksa.
