Indian Military unprovoked fire at LoC critically injured four civilians in Pakistan

RAWALPINDI – Indian troops have once again resorted to unprovoked fire atthe Line of Control.

Four civilians in Pakistan were critically injured on Saturday after Indiansecurity forces opened fire across the Line of Control (LoC).

The firing took place in Layyah sector, a statement by the Inter-ServicesPublic Relations (ISPR) said.

Shots were fired by heavy weapons, to which Pakistan forces respondedbefittingly, the ISPR said.

On Thursday, a soldier embraced martyrdom in unprovoked Indian firing alongLoC, ISPR said. Sepoy Zaheer Ahmed was martyred in Thub Sector of LOC dueto unprovoked firing by Indian troops.

Earlier, a civilian identified as Guftar Hussain, 51, resident of villageJhamra, embraced martyrdom due to unprovoked mortar shelling of Indiantroops.
