Southern Punjab’s batsman Khushdil Shah got himself in the record books onFriday night by smashing the fastest T20 century by a Pakistani batsman.
The 25-year-old batsman reached the three-figure score in just 35 balls –the fastest by a Pakistani and jointly the 5th fastest T20 century by anybatsman in the world.
Shah smashed nine shots over the fence and smashed 8 fours on his way tothe century as his ton helped his side turn the tables and recover from thescore of 43-4.
He surpassed Ahmad Shahzad who had previously held the record of thefastest T20 century by a Pakistani.
