On Saturday, the Foreign Office (FO) officially confirmed the safety of allPakistani nationals in Morocco following a devastating 6.8 magnitudeearthquake that struck the African nation. In a statement issued by FOSpokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Pakistan extended its offer of assistanceto Morocco.
She expressed the heartfelt sympathies and condolences of the people andgovernment of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Morocco for the tragic loss oflives caused by the earthquake.
The FO spokeswoman further revealed that Pakistan’s Embassy in Rabat hadpromptly reached out to the Pakistani community in Morocco to inquire abouttheir safety. According to initial reports, all Pakistani nationals wereconfirmed to be safe in Morocco.
