Avenfield Reference appeal: Sharif family faces yet another setback

ISLAMABAD – Sharif family faces yet another setback in the AvenfieldReference verdict appeal case.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) Bench formed to hear the bail petitions ofSharif family in Avenfield reference dissolved once again on Friday.

The development came as Justice Amir Farooq went abroad on leave due tosummer vacations.

IHC registrar office has sent the matter pertaining to formation of newbench in the case to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP).

The new bench will conduct hearing over the petitions of former premierNawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (retd.) Safdar.

Previously, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani also went on leave folllowingsummer vacations.

The earlie three member bench was dissolved after Justice Shams MahmoodMirza excused himself from hearing the petitions due to personal reason.
