Washington – White House finally responds over media reports of PM ImranKhan and US President Donald Trump meeting. President Trump will welcomePrime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to the White House on July 22, read astatement released by the White House.
“President Donald J. Trump will welcome Prime Minister Imran Khan of theIslamic Republic of Pakistan to the White House on July 22, 2019. The visitwill focus on strengthening cooperation between the United States andPakistan to bring peace, stability, and economic prosperity to a regionthat has seen far too much conflict”, read the statement.
The statement adds, “President Trump and Prime Minister Khan will discuss arange of issues, including counter terrorism, defense, energy, and trade,with the goal of creating the conditions for a peaceful South Asia and anenduring partnership between our two countries.”
