“See we are in a learning process and as a cricketer, you never stopgrabbing things. This World Cup was a unique experience for me and Ilearned a lot while playing a tough situation,” said Imam.
The left-handed batsman Imam-ul-Haq said that his role is to play 50 oversand no player wants to give poor performance. “See, 100 against Bangladeshwas tough as the situation was not ideal to score runs. I agree that Ifailed to get off the mark in the initial stage of the tournament but it isnot over for me and I will keep on giving my best,” he said.
Imam believes in his abilities and wants to remain honest with his duties. The nephew of chief selector Inzam-ul-Haq once again highlighted that he isin the team on merit.
