Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday had demanded immediate resignation from PM Nawaz Sharif and said any delay in this regard would only invite crisis.
Bilawal said that the time for taking correct political decisions was short. He advised Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to resign forthwith.
“Decision delayed is not a problem avoided; it is a crisis invited”, he said in a statement released by Bilawal House in Karachi.
The PPP believes that the JIT report submitted before the Supreme Court on Monday starkly concludes that the PM has failed to justify assets and the means of income. After which Nawaz has totally lost moral and political authority to continue in office and must therefore resign, said the statement.
The PPP chairman said that two honorable judges of the initially formed 5-member bench of the SC had already pronounced guilty verdict against the prime minister.
