NAB unveils documentary evidence and witnesses against Hamza Shahbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Saturday said itholds solid documentary evidences and witnesses against Leader of theOpposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz in assets beyond means case.

The anti-corruption watchdog said in its declaration that the evidences andwitnesses will be presented before the Lahore’s accountability court.

The NAB spokesperson said, “The Lahore High Court (LHC) has alreadyrejected the PML-N leader’s bail. It is only the court’s jurisdiction tomake any decision.

“The anti-graft body will continue performing duty without gettingpressurized by any threat or baseless propaganda. Those who give statementson media regarding the case should become witness in the court.”

It is pertinent here to mention that PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb,earlier today, demanded release of Hamza Shahbaz.

She said the flour and sugar mafia has kept Hamza Shahbaz, who has appearedin more than 50 hearings of the fake money laundering case, in jail to hidetheir illegal activities.

Marriyum Aurangzeb stressed that government does not have any witness orevidence against Hamza Shahbaz. Not a single rupee of corruption has beenproven against him, but he is still imprisoned, she added.

Marriyum Aurangzeb further said that PML-N President and Leader of theOpposition in the National Assembly is also being politically victimized inworst possible way.
