LAHORE- Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi is makingheadlines for not allowing his daughters to play any outdoor sport.
In his recently released biography titled *Game Changer*, which heco-authored with journalist *Wajahat Saeed Khan*, the ostentatiousall-rounder has made many startling revelations about his personal andprofessional life. Ever since the release, Afridi is facing the heat forsomething or the other on a regular basis.
The cricketer is a father to four daughters, named Ansha, Ajwa, Asmara andAqsa Afridi. In the book, Afridi states that he will not permit any of hisdaughters to play outdoor sports and he has made this decision, keepingsocial and religious factors in mind.
“The feminists can say whatever they want about my decision,” hequotes in *GameChanger*. According to *Afridi,* his daughters, are good at sports but arebetter at academics.
“Ajwa and Asmara are the youngest and love to play dress-up. They have mypermission to play any sport, as long as they’re indoors. Cricket? No, notfor my girls. They have permission to play all the indoor games they want,but my daughters are not going to be competing in public sportingactivities.”
