LAHORE – Another member of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member ofNational Assembly (NA) Rana Umar Nazir Khan has decided to join PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to party leader Fawad Chaudhry, Nazir will make formalannouncement during a meeting with PTI Chief Imran Khan today (Thursday).
The leader was elected as MNA from NA-99 Gujranwala constituency.
Earlier, nearly 20 lawmakers from South Punjab led by MNA Khusro Bakhtiarstated that they had no other option apart from joining PTI.
“Ostensibly, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz(PML-N) do not seem serious in making new province out of southern area ofPunjab”, claimed Bakhtiar.
Imran Khan—while taking a jibe at PML-N—taunted that those who had been inpower for 20 years were talking about revolutions.
“If we gain power, southern area of Punjab will be made new province within100 days”, vowed Khan.
