JHELUM – Cheif Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif Punjab has on Thursdayannounced party ticket for former Interior Minister MNA Chaudhry Nisar AliKhan in capacity of president of PML N.

He said reconciliation between Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’ supremeleader, Nawaz Sharif and former interior minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khanwas necessary.

Addressing the audience in Jhelum city of Punjab, the incumbent presidentof ruling PML-N expressed that Chaudhry Nisar was still a friend, assuringthat he will issue party ticket to former security czar, using his position.

The chief minister said that he could not disclose the differences betweenNawaz Sharif and Ch Nisar at the moment adding that senior party leaderswere making serious efforts to mend the ties between the politicians.

Earlier, last month, Ch Nisar had announced contesting the upcomingelections from the NA-59, PP-10 and PP-14 constituencies, however, heavoided disclosing whether he would contest as an independent or asa member of PML-N.

According to media reports, the Pindiite has not met Nawaz Sharif formonths, however, in a recent press conference, the lawmaker revealed thathe was still a part of the party.
