*ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharifand Former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has submitted nominationpapers for the election of prime minister following ouster of Imran Khan. *
The nomination papers for the prime minister’s slot from PTI was receivedby Maleeka Bokhari and Amir Dogar.
The decision to nominate Shah Mahmood Qureshi as the candidate for theprime ministerial slot from PTI was taken by a meeting of party’s corecommittee headed by Imran Khan.
Shehbaz Sharif’s nomination was proposed by Khawaja Asif and seconded byRana Tanvir while Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s nomination was proposed by AmirDogar and seconded by Maleeka Bokhari.
