Over Rs5.4b approved for development projects in tribal districts

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved more than five point four billion rupees for different developmental projects in tribal districts of the province.

According to a statement issued by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Relief and Rehabilitation Department in Peshawar today, the approval is given on the directives of Chief Minister for these districts affected by terrorism.

About six hundred and sixty-eight developmental projects have been approved.

More than two point two billion rupees have been allocated for rehabilitating two hundred and thirty-eight schools in the tribal districts.

Similarly, about one point four billion rupees have been reserved for clean drinking water projects in merged districts.

More than seven hundred million rupees have also been earmarked for health related projects
