Indian Police ridiculed over seizure of Pakistani Spy balloon

The Indian police have taken an airplane-shaped balloon into custody forbeing emblazoned with the text ‘PIA’ (Pakistan International Airlines).

The balloon was found in the village of Sotra Chak of the Hiranagar sectorin Occupied Kashmir on Tuesday evening.——————————

The Indian news agency, ANI, said that the Rajbagh police have taken theballoon into custody and have launched an investigation into the matter.

This is not the first time that the Indian law enforcement agencies havemade such a bizarre move that has been ridiculed worldwide.——————————

In May 2020, the Indian border security force had captured a ‘Pakistani spypigeon’ and handed it over to the police in Occupied Kashmir.

As per Indian media reports, the pigeon had been ‘detained’ as a ‘suspectedPakistani spy’ because it bore a clear pink mark and a tag on one leg. Thepolice suspected that the pigeon had been used for spy activities byPakistan.
