Pakistani Rupee falls against US Dollar

On Monday, the Pakistani rupee depreciated by 14 paisa against the US dollar in interbank trading, closing at Rs 278.70 compared to the previous day's rate of Rs 278.56.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the dollar's buying and selling rates in the open market were Rs 278.85 and Rs 280.35, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of the Euro saw a decline of Rs 1.37, closing at Rs 308.21 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 309.58, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen dropped by 01 paisa, closing at Rs 1.94, while the British pound fell by Rs 1.97, trading at Rs 365.22 against the previous rate of Rs 367.19.
In contrast, the exchange rates for the Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal slightly increased by 03 paisa and 05 paisa, closing at Rs 75.87 and Rs 74.25, respectively.
