Gold Prices in Pakistan register decline

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Monday, in line with movements in the international market. According to the rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs1,100, bringing the rate down to Rs260,400.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold witnessed a decline, dropping by Rs943 and selling at Rs223,251. While gold prices experienced a notable decrease, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950 per tola.

On the global front, spot gold fell by 0.2%, settling at $2,491.11 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures also edged 0.2% lower to $2,520.30. In contrast, spot silver saw a rise of 0.4% to $28.04 per ounce. Other precious metals, such as platinum and palladium, experienced gains, with platinum increasing by 1.7% to $937.35 and palladium rising by 1.3% to $922.68.
