PESHAWAR - A CPEC Project is going to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the first ever province in Pakistan which would be energy self sufficient.
Suki Kinari Hydropower Project ,under CPEC will generate around 870MW inexpensive electricity to meet growing energy needs of the country .
Counsellor Embassy of China Li Yuanling giving details of the project in Islamabad today said this is one of the largest private sector run-of-the-river projects.
It will be completed at a cost of 1.92 billion dollars and generate jobs for 3,000 local residents .
The Suki Kinari hydropower project is located on Kunhar River in the Kaghan Valley of District Mansehra.
