Federal government is spending five point five billion rupees on improvement of electricity transmission system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A spokesman of PESCO told our Peshawar correspondent that work has been initiated on one hundred and fifty-one electricity projects in the province out of which fifty-five have been completed.
These projects include laying of new transmission lines, repair of transformers and upgradation of different grid stations
Similarly, work on construction of two hundred and twenty KV grid stations in Charsadda, Mansehra and Dera Ismail Khan is also in progress.
