LAHORE - Maryam Nawaz breaks silence over Mobile Phone controversy inside the Jail.Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday stated that no mobile phone was recovered from her by the jail authorities. Replying to a question, Maryam Nawaz added that even jail authorities have rejected reports of recovery of mobile phone.
The reporter inquired, “A govt minister is making claims of recovery of mobile phone from you [Maryam Nawaz]?”
To this Maryam replied, “His statement has been proven wrong. The denial has come from jail authorities, not from mine. Nothing like this had happened. I’ve read denial of IG in the newspaper.”
