Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claims that Ali Awan, a prominent party leader and former National Assembly member, has reportedly been abducted. The alleged incident, according to PTI's announcement on X, took place in Battal, Mansehra on Wednesday night.
PTI asserts that Awan was forcibly taken to an undisclosed location, with sources indicating that he was apprehended in the Mansehra area of Battal and subsequently handed over to the Islamabad police.
Expressing concern, PTI demands the immediate presentation of Awan before a Magistrate and emphasizes the necessity of adhering to the rule of law in both letter and spirit.
Despite these claims and demands, there has been no official statement from the authorities regarding Awan's arrest up to this point.
