PAF shines in multinational Anatolian Eagle air exercise

ISLAMABAD: Multinational Anatolian Eagle air exercise was held here at Konya city of Turkey.   Seven countries air forces including Pakistan Air Force participated in the exercise.

As per details, PAF Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operations) Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan also took part in the exercises and flew a F-16 aircraft at the occasion.

Multinational Anatolian Eagle exercises were led by Turkish Air Force while seven countries including Pakistan, Italy, Netherland, NATO, Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan were among the participants.

It is the sixth time that Pakistani Air Force is taking part in these exercises with F-16 jets and PAF Staff comprising 90 personnel including technicians and aircrew.

Defense Attache of Pakistan in Turkey Air Commodore Abbas Ghumman and Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar also witnessed exercises on June 7 in Konya.

Pakistani Ambassador to Turkey Sohail Mahmood also visited the exercise area and held meeting with PAF personnel who participated in the exercises while he also called on Base Commander of the Turkish Air Force in Konya.
