The gold and silver prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Friday as the yellow and silver metals saw a phenomenal increase in value in the international market.
The gold price of one tola of 24-Karat fine gold went up by Rs700 to reach Rs1,67,100.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-Karat gold went up by Rs600 to reach Rs1,43,261.
The price of 10 grams of 22 karats gold is also increased and traded on Friday at Rs1,31,323.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold was increased by $16 to reach $1,800 per ounce.
The price of one tola of 24-Karat silver also increased by Rs30 as it was being traded for Rs1,890 per tola.
While the price of 10 grams of 24 karats pure silver has also increased by Rs25.72 to reach Rs1,620.37.
Karachi Sarafa Bazaar Association representatives said that the increase in the value of the dollar has affected the price of gold.
