LAHORE: (APP) A judicial magistrate on Friday handed over main accused, Rana Muzammil, involved in killing of stage actress Qismat Baig, to police on a four-day physical remand.
Earlier, the police produced the accused before Judicial Magistrate Shaukat Ranjha and submitted that the accused was arrested in connection with the murder of the stage actress Qismat Baig. The police requested the court to grant physical remand of the accused for investigation.
At this, the court handed over the accused to police on a four-day remand and directed to produce the accused on expiry of the remand term.
Qismat Baig was shot dead last month by unidentified persons while she was on her way back to home.
