ISLAMABAD: The annual award ceremony of Pakistan Cricket Board was held in Karachi last night.
Shan Masood was confirmed the award of best batsman of Men's Domestic Cricket while Aizaz Cheema was declared best bowler and Kamran Akmal best wicket keeper of Men's Domestic Cricket.
Bisma Maroof won the award of best batswoman of Women Domestic Cricket, Daina Baig won the best bowler and Sidra Nawaz won the award of best wicket keeper of Woman Domestic Cricket.
Amir Ashfaq won the award of best player of the year of Pakistan Blind Cricket, Nihaar Alam declared best player of the year of Pakistan Disabled Cricket and Muhammad Naveed Qamar won the award of best deaf cricketer.
All-rounder of Pakistan Men Cricket team Faheem Ashraf received the award of best emerging player of Men Cricket team and Daina Baig was awarded for best emerging player of Women Cricket team.
Babar Azam was declared the best T-20 batsman of the year while Javeria Khan confirmed the best women T-20 batswoman.
Hassan Ali received the best one-day player award of the year and Sana Mir best one-day player of women cricket.
Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Sarfarz Ahmad was given the award of Imtiaz Ahmed Sprit of Cricket trophy.
Fakhar Zaman was received the award of outstanding performance of the year while Muhammad Abbas got the award of best test cricketer of the year.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman PCB Najam Sethi said that the cricket is returning home with the hectic collective efforts of Pakistan Army, government and the nation.
