Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif leading the PML-N caravan, has left Punjab House in Islamabad for his Lahore journey.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Members of the Federal Cabinet, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and PML (N) leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
Carvan of the former Prime Minister gathered at D Chowk, Islamabad from where it reached Faizabad via Zeropoint.
The number of people is estimated at 5000 by the Police sources.
Nawaz Sharif is expected to address his supporters and party workers at different places en route to Lahore.
Our correspondent reports that PML (N) workers have made elaborate arrangements to give tumultuous welcome to the former Prime Minister.
