ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) on Tuesday said that strict action would be taken against unregistered medical or dental colleges throughout the country.
According to an official of PMDC, any such medical and dental institution would not be allowed to train students which are not registered with the PMDC.
He said students could check the list of registered and authorized medical and dental colleges from PMDC website.
All the institutions which are advertising admissions of medical and dental college must follow the seat allocation prescribed by the council in order to avoid any inconvenience in future, he added.
He said that no student over admitted would be issued registration by the PMDC.
Passed out medical dental graduates without having students registration with PMDC would not be registered as medical and dental practitioners, he added.
He said that if any person had a problem regarding their case or any other matter related to admissions of medical dental colleges, they can contact for complaints or grievance to the president PMDC or PMDC council members on the help line and email president @pmdc.org.pk
He added that the names of medical and dental college whose admissions have been barred and the colleges which are under litigation are available on PMDC website.
