The way has been paved for dropping of liquor licence case against formerPunjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in light of the amended NAB law.
According to sources, NAB director general has recommended to wrap up thecase against Usman Buzdar.
After new amendments, the NAB has no power to take action in a caserelating to less than Rs500 million, the sources said.
The NAB prosecutor had informed the Lahore High Court on Thursday that therecommendation to close the case against Usman Buzdar has been forwarded tothe NAB chairman.
