ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul RazakDawood has said that the export-oriented industry will be supplieduninterrupted gas this winter.
In a tweet on Monday, Abdul Razak Dawood said, “We are now heading into thewinter and there may be gas shortages. The government has decided that forthe export-oriented industry, there will be no outages of gas supply.”
Dawood asked industries to report any disruption in gas supply to theMinistry of Commerce so that it could be brought to the attention of theconcerned body to take corrective action.
Earlier on November 21, Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh hadinformed that the domestic gas crisis in the province had intensified withthe advent of winter, blaming the federal government for “doing nothingabout the situation”.
