ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has arrived in Turkey ona two-day visit to the country.
He was received by Ambassador Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi and seniorofficials of Pakistan embassy at the airport.
He will represent Pakistan at the meeting of foreign ministers of 14countries also called Heart of Asia in Istanbul. Foreign Minister will alsoaddress Heart of Asia Conference. During the conference, mutual cooperationand welfare issues will also be discussed. The Conference will be jointlypresided over by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu and his Afghancounterpart Idrees Zaman.
The first Heart of Asia Istanbul Process conference was held in 2011 inIstanbul on Afghanistan.
