ISLAMABAD – Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said thatexploration of oil and gas will be given preference in order to support andstrengthen the national economy.
Addressing a function in Rawalpindi today (Saturday), he regretted that theexploration was not given preference in the past and that is why country isspending sixteen billion dollars annually on import of petroleum products.
He pointed out that we import eighty-five percent of petroleum productsfrom abroad.
