Security Forces Foil Major Terror Plot in Karachi

Karachi — In a major breakthrough against terrorism, Pakistan’s securityforces have arrested a Fitna-tul-Khwarij terrorist from Karachi during asuccessful intelligence-based operation (IBO). Acting on a specificintelligence input, the forces carried out a swift and precise raid,leading to the arrest of a key terrorist figure linked to subversiveactivities in the city.

According to official sources, the arrested militant was planning to carryout a series of terror attacks in Karachi and other parts of Sindh. Duringthe operation, security personnel recovered five improvised explosivedevices (IEDs), detonators, detonation codes, weapons, and a largequantity of ammunition from the suspect’s possession.

Authorities believe the timely action of the security forces has averted apotential tragedy and saved countless innocent lives. The arrestedindividual has been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation,where efforts are underway to trace his facilitators and network.
