Dhaka, 9 October 2025 (Sunday): In a significant development reflectingchanging dynamics in South Asian military diplomacy, a high-leveldelegation led by Chief of Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy Admiral NaveedAshraf paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh atthe Army Headquarters today.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged warm greetings and discussed measuresto enhance defence cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The talkscovered a wide range of areas, including joint military training, exchangeprograms, seminars, and future bilateral visits to strengthen operationalunderstanding and professional collaboration.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf lauded the professionalism and discipline ofBangladeshi officers who participated in the multinational naval exercise“AMAN 2025” held in Karachi and the North Arabian Sea earlier this year.He noted that such engagements foster regional stability and mutual trustamong participating nations.
